Fetal Plus® is a proprietary combination of US origin FBS and EquaFETAL®. Fetal Plus® is derived from 100% U.S. Origin fetal bovine serum Fetal Plus® supports a wide variety of cell types. The formulation is proprietary and the exclusive property of Atlas Biologicals. Produced from raw materials collected from approved facilities within the contiguous United States that has undergone inspection by the United States Department of Agriculture. Manufactured utilizing current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Triple 0.1 micron filtered.
Fetal Plus® is a less expensive option than fetal bovine serum but delivers comparable performance and in many cases even better. Priced to compete with foreign sourced fetal bovine serum and other bovine serum products. The combination of the different sera produces a product that works for a greater variety of cell culture applications not obtainable by any of the agents independently. Fetal Plus® has been used effectively in a wide variety of mammalian and insect cells including human stem cells. Every lot is made from the same sources therefore reducing the need for subsequent testing and assuring complete traceability.
Usage Statement: For further manufacturing use. NOT FOR HUMAN OR ANIMAL CONSUMPTION
Species: 100% Bovine (Bos Taurus)
Available Product Treatments
Serum from each facility is processed separately, reducing lot-to-lot variability. Each lot of bovine serum goes through rigorous testing using current USP, 9 CFR 113 and/or EP methods. Traceability of serum is maintained from the facility of origin to the final container.
